4 Bears bed and breakfast is just 40 minutes from Cody, WY just about a mile and a half from the confluence of the beautiful Wood and Greybull rivers on Hwy 120 west of Meeteetse, WY. and is much more than just a bed and breakfast, that's only the start. I offer wildlife tours where you will see herds of deer and antelope along with elk , buffalo maybe even a coyote or wolf, we have plenty of wolves, but sightings are hit and miss. If you are willing to be up early so we can be in the mountains about daylight you will have a fair chance of seeing a grizzly bear, we have lots of them, we also see the occasional moose. Sage grouse, hawks, eagles and turkey are also seen. This is a backcountry four wheel drive on some of the roughest roads you will ever ride on. This tour will show you a part of this beautiful area that 95% of tourist never get to experince. The scenery on this tour is breathtaking. I can also take you on a tour in the badlands country where we will be looking for wild horses, chances are pretty good of seeing the wild horses, you should also see antelope and deer, maybe a coyote or two and maybe some praire dogs. If you would like to try some fishing we can do that too, either at the lake or on the river. If you would like to try your hand at some target shooting at the onsite shooting range , that is also something to consider and if you are interested I can give you an ammunition reloading demonstration. Show you how to make ammo.So many things we can do, I can also take you to an ancient indian site and see the carvings they made over a thousand years ago and from there we can go to the dinasour museum, it is amazing, if you see it you will be glad you went and from there we can go and sit in the thermal hotsprings for a bit and relax. 4 Bears is offering you a chance to have a wonderful vacation, life is short, don't miss out. Stop in for a stay on your way to and from Cody and Yellowstone.
After you wake up from a restful night's sleep on our comfortable beds, you can look forward to a home cooked ranch style breakfast which will also include the best fresh fruit. We eat healthy at this place! And if you would like to get an early morning natural high like I do every morning you can accompany me, or go on your own if you like, for a walk around beautiful Sunshine lake, it is only a five minute walk from the house. You will hear loons , see fish in the water and enjoy some beautiful views and are very likely to see herds of antelope or deer and very few if any people most of the time. No pets in the house, but we have a dog kennel and room for horses. Both the Greybull and Wood rivers are great fly fishing and fishing in Sunshine lake is good too when they are biting. I just want to emphasize that a beautiful home and a good night's rest with a great breakfast is only the tip of the iceberg here. There is just so much to enjoy here in the great outdoors of this amazing area. I truly believe I am living in paradise and I would love to share it with you
